While sweet Salazar was munchin a mouse (LOVE that alliteration!), the mouse bit into Sally's scales.
Now Salazar has an oowie on his belly/side/back/rib (whatever...he's just a tube!) and he won't come out of his water tub. I treated the bite with neosporin, and I am keeping a close eye on it because the last thing I want to do is take the guy to an overpriced exotic animal vet.
Cross your fingers that Salazar survives.
