Preparing for winter and other musings

Bonzo has a new "Winter in Spokane" sweater. I had him try it on this morning in our 80 degree heat. He looked so good that the kitty wanted to lick him!

My sweet sister-in-law Michelle is pregnant and she just let us know that she is having a baby boy. YAY!!! She is due on Brian's birthday (Nov. 24). I now have only ONE good girl friend who has not been pregnant or given birth in the last year and a half- and she is a lesbian. I am really feeling the pressure to reproduce!! But what if I want to travel? What if I want to winter in a yurt in Antartica? Then what? Also, I'm pretty much out of debt...Won't a kid just make me poor?

On a cheerier note, our house is the most wonderful house EVER! And my mama and my sister and my BFF Susan are all coming out for a visit in August. Also my new BFF in Washington, Amber, is very fun and artistic- so I am loving her right now. YAY family and friends!!!
