Since it was a holiday week, there was no daycare for PJ. We kept ourselves busy with a lot of fun activities including: sister snuggling, bath time, finger painting, Chuck E Cheese, and several excellent play dates. This was my first experience keeping two kids at home with me, and while I think I was successful- it was EXHAUSTING meeting both of their needs!

New Year's Eve and a whole lot more!
We were lucky enough to get to spend our New Year's Eve with our friends the Nagles! We had a fabulous friend's evening including a great dinner of elk steaks and cheesy mushrooms and rice, fireworks, pinata smashing, and a (ahem) midnight sparkling cider toast. It really was a perfect evening.
