Daddy and PJ built a special potty stool together. They picked the wood, cut, sanded, painted and decorated it all together. It was a neat daddy and son experience. And it was great to be the mom watching them work together!
Painting the stool in one of my old vests.
This weekend we watched our neighbors' dogs- Pixie and Ollie.
PJ was totally in love with them, and they tolerated him pretty well!
While PJ and I played with the dogs, and swam in the pool, daddy worked his buns off in the garden. He added manure and compost and rototilled it all up.
Pete in the pool. It was NOT a hot day, it was only about 70, but he wanted to get that darn pool out and swim!
We traced our bodies out with chalk, it's funny to see how TINY little Pete is. In my mind he's a lot taller than this!
Look at this GINORMOUS fuchsia! Seriously it is bigger than any fuchsia I've ever seen!
I planted my pots today. In honor of Memorial Day I planted a red, white, and blue container.
Here's the purple and pink pot. Pretty.

I want to see the finished stool. Where will Pete use it?
