The TV saga

2 weeks ago, while in the middle os a show, our faithful, old TV blew up. It decided it was too tired to go on with the awful summer re-runs. So Mr. P and I decided it was time to step up and get a fancy, wall-hanging, kind of TV. But before doing that Mr. P tried to see if there was something obvious to repair- but no luck.

About a week after the TV blew, we went to CostCo and found a brand called Vizio. They were not as much money as the others of comparable size and style, but we were wary about buying a "no name" TV, especially seeing as we were about to drop a bunch of cash on it. So, home we went to research the brand and before I could say "Jack Doodle" there it was, hooked up and in my living room! We like our new TV very much!

we learned that no name TVs are good for people who don't plan to do any fancy stuff with their TV, and who are "casual" watchers. We love it.
