School School School

SO the other day I had my kids writing metaphors.
One of my shy, mumbly boys read his aloud. Here is what he said:
"The penis blue."
I FREAKED out! I said "WHAT DID YOU SAY!?"
and the rest of the class was staring at him with slack jaws.
and so he repeated "The pen is blue." very slowly.
and then, I sat down and took a breath.
