Birthday Update

Here is what I did for my 30th.
I worked from 8:00-3:30 and when I came home, Brian had the house decorated with streamers that said "Happy Birthday!" He had also sorta mummified both dogs in the streamers; they came running out to the car to greet me when I got home. I laughed and laughed.

He bought me several bunches of tulips (my favorite flower) and had them sitting all around the house. I was pooped after working, so he ran me a bath with new bubbles while he washed the cars. Then after I had a cat-nap, he dressed up in a suit and made me seafood fetuccini with garlic bread; I SWEAR IT WAS BETTER THAN PASTABILITIES!!! Then we opened presents and he got me the CUTEST purse from J Jill and the Michael Buble' CD I wanted!

After that we went to Shari's (which is just like Carrows) and we shared a pie. Well, we bought a whole chocolate mouse pie, but only ate one slice! As we walked to the car he sang me happy birthday in opera, country, and regular styles.

Then we went home, watched Olympics and went to bed. A VERY nice day!

The day before my B-day, He woke me up with waffles, sliced peaches and kisses in bed, and sang "happy day-before-your birthday". At pre-lunch I got to ride around in the shopping cart at Cost-Co while Brian fed me the testers, and sang happy birthday-just like I wanted. My new sister-in-law (and family) got us a gift certificate to Cost-Co and we used it to buy new rose bushes that we will be planting next weekend, and more tulips to plant! THANKS MICHELLE! Then we went out to a delicious sushi lunch. And finally we went to Target to buy a new set of bowls; but we ended up finding them at Ross

That man of mine is a real sport! He takes good care of his wife. I love him through and through!
